The twins school was picked to do a flyover because of the tiltle they received 2 years in a row "NC PBS Exemplar School" I can't really pick out my duo but they are in there somewhere!

Gim'me, Gim'me
Just thought I would share a song that is on heavy rotation on my iPod! I have a thing for the Brit bands lately. Enjoy! Dan Black "Symphonies".

NARS anyone?
I guess I should have asked before I bought but I needed a makeup primer badly. Been reading up on all the reviews and it seems NARS is pretty well liked throughout the Blogging/Beauty world. Sephora carries so much, I was a little overwhelmed at first.
And I am eyeing Beethoven:
Can I just say how much I love love love Kat Von D's Eyeshadows? They are gorgeous and go on nicely. I bought Ludwig:
I ordered my OPI Mad as a Hatter and Absolutely Alice last week, since ULTA is all sold out! I have waited this long, I guess I can wait a little bit longer.
Any suggestions on great eyeshadows and primers?

I broke it!
As I was pulling everything off the walls in my downstairs bathroom for the re-do, I dropped my $2 Big Lots picture. It was a space filler, but as I mulled over it a bit I figured out what I could do with things I already had.
I see that Monograms are big right now, so I joined in. I bought some clearance fabric at Joann's, it's really funky and stretchy and I was gonna use it to try and make my first pillow, then I thought it would look better on my idea.

All I had to buy was a "W". I picked off the glue that held the glass in the frame. Then I wrapped and glued the fabric over the glass, then assembled and glued the glass back into the frame.
While that dried, I spray painted the W black and painted it green. I let that dry a bit, then went over the green with some more black spraypaint.
I let that set overnight, then I hot glued the W to the frame and hung it up in our Kitchen. Simple.Easy.Cheap.

Scurrred! Kinda.
So with all my new found ambitiousness, there is one thing that scares me. A SAW! Ackkk! I think it might be the noise it makes. Let's not forget the NAIL gun. I handled one when we installed our floors. So LOUD. But I want to try my hand at building a console table!
Knock-Off Wood shows us bloggers "How to Build Knock-Out, Knock-Off Furniture". She breaks all her plans down, step by step and tells you exactly what you will need. Some pieces (especially her Farmhouse bed) look DAUNTING, but she did it.
I saw plans for her Simple, Cheap and Easy Console Table and thought "I could totally make that" or atleast try right?

I have nothing, by the way of tools, to make this though. Untill I asked my fave co-worker, JW, and she said "Oh, I got you! You can borrow my something something saw, it's perfect for a first time user".
It's going to be a while before I actually get the balls to start this, but I am on my way!

And a Polish Pic
OPI Shim-Merry Chic is lovely isn't it? But what a bitch to get off, I still have glittery somethings stuck to my nails and I used a ton of Acetone.

Bathroom Re-Do Part 2
I messed up the camera setting so the pics are sorta blurry, but you'll get the idea! I decided to go with the beadboard wallpaper that I read about on Southern Hospitality, she bought her's at The HD, and I found mine at Lowes for $14 a roll. I only used one of the two I bought and it went up rather easy, I didn't have to mess with it too much other than get the air bubbles out.
I let that dry overnight, then I cut the chair rail molding, using the area above the sink as my guide. Once all the pieces were cut and fit nicely into eachother, I glued and nailed them to the walls, made sure the rails were level and then caulked like mad.
My husband is none to happy about the wallpaper, but I think it looks FAB!
Antique white will go on the wallpaper, and then I will repaint the walls the same color and paint the rails and baseboards with a glossy white paint.
The ceiling is still baffling me. I have a few ideas, so we shall see!

A little bit of SNOW....
Just a few pics from our BIG SNOW storm. I shoveled the driveway and walkway, and it broke away in huge ice sheets, which the twins and Katie built an ice fort. I really need ot invest in some snow boots, because my Aasics were soaked!
